Blending Essential Oils?
I have some ylang ylang, some neroli and some sweet almond oil. Are there special “tools” to blend the oils with the carrier or do you just mix em up?
(trying to get into aromatherapy!)
no special tools, the sweet almond oil will be enough to blend them together.
The only thing to really bear in mind is the quantities, you only need a few drops of essential oils per 100ml of almond oil.
Pour your sweet almond oil in to an amber glass bottle, (glass to prevent the oils reacting, they have a tendancy to break down the plastic molecules and amber-coloured to protect from sunlight) Then simply add a few drops of essential oil.
These are both good oils to help sooth and relax you.
