Aromatherapy for pain
Essential oils can help relieve pain by reducing inflammation, acting as a natural anesthetic and encourage the healing process. People can be affected by pain in different ways and aromatherapy can relieve a variety of physical ailments. Below how to apply aromatherapy to help you live without pain.
Aromatherapy for arthritis:
• Pino
• Eucalyptus
• Lavender
• Lemon
Use:
• Add 3 drops of pine, eucalyptus 3 drops, 2 drops of lavender and two drops of juice lemon in a small bowl of warm water. The water should be warm, but not too hot to avoid burns. Dip a cloth in the mixture to absorb water and shelter around the hands or the affected area as a compress.
• Add 2 drops of each in a neutral cream and apply on affected area.
Aromatherapy for bursitis:
• Eucalyptus
• Mint
• Geranium
Applications:
• Mix 2 drops of each in a teaspoon of olive oil and massage the affected area.
Aromatherapy for Earache:
• Lavender
• Tea Tree
Use:
• Mix 3 drops of lavender 3 drops of tea tree oil in 1 tablespoon olive oil. This mixture is good for some applications. Rub the mixture into the ear and down Col 2-4 times per day until the ear pain is gone. This can be used for children if parties in the essential oils are cut in half. No more than 3 essential oils to a tablespoon of olive oil.
Aromatherapy for joint pain:
• Pino
• Eucalyptus
• Lavender
• Lemon
Use:

• Add 2 drops of lavender and marjoram and 1 drop of olive oil 1 tablespoon ginger. Add this mixture to 1 cup of Epsom salts and add to bath water.
Aromatherapy for headaches and migraines:
• The Mint
• Eucalyptus
• Grapefruit
Applications:
• Add 2 drops oil a little cream to give neutral and neck massage to focus on the base of the skull. Finish with a scalp massage.
• Add 2 drops of each in a essential oil burner.
Aromatherapy for menstrual pain:
• Estragon
• Mandarin
• Marjoram
Use:
• Mix 2 out of oil 1 tsp jojoba oil, and massaging the abdomen and back. Repeat 4 times a day until the pain relieved.
Aromatherapy for tennis elbow:
• Pino
• Eucalyptus
• Lavender
• Lemon
Use:
• Add 3 drops of pine, 3 drops of eucalyptus, 2 drops of lavender and two drops of lemon juice in small bowl warm water. The water should be warm but not too hot to avoid burns. Dip a cloth in the mixture to absorb water and wrap around your hand or affected area a compress.
• Add 2 drops of arnica cream each and are applied around the elbow and forearm.
